To some extent I'd say: Seacomm landed and ADSL prices are droping drastically - in fact some (foolish) ISPs are involved in a price war, there was a 52% increase in visits to SA web sites by unique web browsers year on year, broadband penetration is almost 10%, several new data centres and internet exchange points came online, cell providers cutr data rates by almost half, interconnect

May this come to pass soon. I'd love to host my websites locally, but under the current pricing regime it's just not economically viable.
